About NoWM Twitter GIF Downloader
Animated GIFs are the language of X (Twitter) — reactions, memes, and highlights that deserve to be saved and reused. But X offers no native way to download them to your device.
Here is the key insight: X does not actually serve GIF files. Every GIF uploaded to X is converted into a small looped MP4 video. NoWM Twitter GIF Downloader extracts that MP4 directly from the public post, giving you a crisp, shareable video file that plays everywhere — no conversion quality loss, no watermark.
How to Download GIFs from X / Twitter
Follow these simple steps to save any public GIF as MP4 in seconds:
Copy Post Link
Open the X post containing the GIF, tap Share, and choose Copy Link.
Paste URL
Paste the copied URL into the NoWM input box above and click Fetch Video.
Save MP4
Preview the animation to confirm it, then click Download Video to save the MP4 file.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I get an MP4 instead of a GIF file?
X converts every uploaded GIF into a looped MP4 video on its servers. The MP4 is the original platform file — smaller, sharper, and playable everywhere, with no quality lost to conversion.
Can I convert the MP4 back into a GIF?
Yes. Most video editors and many messaging apps accept MP4 directly, and free converters can turn it back into a GIF if you need that format.
Do I need an X account to download GIFs?
No. NoWM never asks for your X credentials. You only need the public link of the post containing the GIF.
Can I download GIFs from private accounts?
No. NoWM strictly respects user privacy settings and only downloads GIFs from publicly viewable posts.
